Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control and Assurance (QC & QA) Manager to oversee and optimize all quality-related activities for personal care and home products. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, collaborating with production and laboratory teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Supervise quality control of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and oversee testing and validation procedures.
  • Conduct internal and external audits, prepare documentation, and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Manage and train a team of quality specialists and laboratory technicians.
  • Oversee supplier relationships and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize non-conformities.
  • Analyze risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Candidate Profile

  • Education: Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in quality control, ideally in cosmetics, hygiene, or home care products.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in QMS, GMP, laboratory testing, and ISO standards.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Angolan and international regulations (FDA, EU Cosmetics).
  • Languages: Fluent in Portuguese and proficient in English.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in team management and strong communication skills.
