Job Description
- Position Overview
As an Energy and Environmental Engineer, you will join a team specialized in optimizing energy consumption and promoting the ecological transition of buildings and industries. Your role will involve analyzing energy performance, modeling energy consumption, calculating CO₂ emissions, and supporting clients in their energy improvement initiatives.
- Key Responsibilities
- Development of Material and Energy Balances: In accordance with the specifications of the National Agency for Energy Management (ANME), the energy engineer must develop energy balances at various levels (factory, production sector, energy-intensive equipment).
- Identification of Energy-Saving Projects: Present these projects in the form of action plans detailing modifications, improvements, energy savings, generated gains, and return on investment timelines.
- Conducting Energy Audits: Perform preliminary and in-depth energy audits, including measurement campaigns and the preparation of audit reports.
- Analysis of Energy Consumption: Analyze energy consumption data from recent years and calculate energy ratios relative to production output.
- Required Skills
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in energy consumption measurement and evaluation techniques, as well as specialized software tools.
- Degree Required: Engineering degree in energy, environment, building thermodynamics, or equivalent.
- Experience: Beginners accepted; prior experience in energy auditing is a plus.
- Languages: Strong command of French and English.
- Teamwork: Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various departments.
